Privacy Policy

Effective: June 21, 2026

Advection Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our") publishes Calculated Survival (the "Game"). This policy explains what information the Game collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Game on Android, iOS, and the web build at this site.

No accounts, no personal details collected directly

Calculated Survival doesn't have user accounts, logins, or profiles. We don't ask you for your name, email address, or any contact information to play. Your run progress, settings, and saved game state are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand how the Game is played in aggregate — for example, how long runs last, which loadouts are chosen, or how often a run ends in a particular way. This data is tied to a device/installation identifier, not to your real-world identity, and we don't use it to identify you personally. Advertising

The Game may show ads (interstitial and optional rewarded ads) using Google AdMob. AdMob can collect device and advertising identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA), approximate location, and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads, and — where permitted — to personalize them. We do not control what AdMob or its advertising partners do with this data beyond what's described in Google's policy for partner sites and apps.

Your choices: you can opt out of personalized/interest-based ads at the device level:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
• iOS: when prompted by App Tracking Transparency, choose "Ask App Not to Track," or disable it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Opting out reduces ad personalization but doesn't stop ads from showing, since ads help keep the Game free.

Remote configuration

We use Firebase Remote Config to adjust gameplay/ad settings (like ad frequency) without shipping an app update. This service does not transmit personal information — it only delivers configuration values to the Game.

Children's privacy

Calculated Survival is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below and we'll address it.

Data retention & security

Locally stored save data stays on your device until you uninstall the Game or clear its app data/storage — we don't keep a server-side copy. Analytics and advertising data are retained and secured according to Google's own retention practices for Firebase and AdMob, linked above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the Game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
